Nasceu em Lisboa em 1977. Começou a interessar-se por fotografia desde cedo, iniciando a sua formação na área da imagem em 1994, seguido de um curso de Iniciação Cinematográfica. Em 2002 termina o Curso Superior de Design de Comunicação pela E.S.T.A.L., e em 2004 o Curso Profissional de Fotografia na A.P.A.F. Desde então tem feito vários workshops dentro da área da imagem.
Entre 2001 e 2013 colaborou como fotografa e designer de comunicação em diversos ateliers sediados em Lisboa. Foi co-fundadora do colectivo de fotografia Fragma em 2004, com quem colabora regularmente em auto-publicações de livros de fotografia e exposições. Actualmente alia o ensino, tendo sido responsável pela criação de novos conteúdos (2012-2016) e formadora na Associação Portuguesa de Arte Fotográfica desde 2007, à fotografia profissional como freelancer e autora. Desde 2001 que expõe regularmente o seu trabalho autoral, desenvolvendo pontualmente a actividade de curadora.

Born in Lisbon-Portugal, 1977. Started getting interested in photography from an early age, making her first course about the subject in 1994, followed by a Cinematography Initiation course. In 2002 finished the Communication Design degree at ESTAL and in 2004 the Professional Photography course at APAF. Since then has made several workshops on the subject of image, amongst them the Project and Development of a Photography Book Course, with Bruno Pelletier Sequeira in Atelier de Lisboa.
Between 2001 and 2013 she worked as a graphic designer and photographer in several studios in Lisbon. Was a co-founder of the photography collective Fragma in 2004, with whom has regular collaboration in self-published photobooks and exhibitions. Currently combines education, having been responsible for the creation of new content (2012-2016) and teaching at the Portuguese Association of Photographic Art since 2007, as well as at Atelier de Lisboa since 2020, also as an educational coordinator of its' youth department since 2022, with a career as a freelance photographer and author. Since 2001, she has regularly exhibited her authorial work, punctually developing the activity of curator and self-publishing.
