Bruno Pelletier Sequeira was born in 1966 in Lisbon, where he lives and works. He studied photography at Escola Maumaus in Lisbon between 1993 and 1995. Holds a postgraduate degree in Art Curatorship at FCSH-UNL in 2017. 

Founded Atelier de Lisboa in 2006, where he is director, coordinator, professor, curator and editor.

In 1996, he held the solo exhibition Sunny Guest House at the Arquivo Fotográfico Municipal in Lisbon. In 2000, he held the individual exhibitions Panjim Inn and Modern Lodge at Cordoaria Nacional. He received a scholarship from Fundação Oriente in 1996. In 1994 and 1997 he participated in collective exhibitions at the Encontros de Fotografia de Coimbra (Frontier and Lingua Franca Itineraries) and held the individual exhibition Álbum de Família at Encontros da Imagem in Braga in 1997. His work is represented in several public collections: Centro Português de Fotografia, Encontros de Fotografia de Coimbra, Galerie du Chateau d'Eau, Arquivo Fotográfico Municipal de Lisboa, Encontros da Imagem de Braga, PLMJ Foundation.

In addition to teaching at Atelier de Lisboa, he was also a teacher at the Maumaus School (1994-1997), at the António Arroio School (1995-2003), at Ar.Co (2003 and 2004), at the School of Arts of the University of Évora ( 2018-2019) and at IADE-European University since 2020.
